The Ultimate Cookie Dough

Now as we all know, eating raw cookie dough is bad. As we also know, who cares. The first time I made this cookie dough, my mom and I looked at each other in awe. I’ve been known to be a dramaqueen, but it is THAT good.

The recipe below is the base of the dough. You can add just about anything to it. My personal faves are white chocolate & dried cranberries. You can add chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruits, the list is endless.

You’re welcome.

2 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 c brown sugar
1 c salted butter, softened
1/4 c sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla

Whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl (or sift if you’re fancy). Cream together sugars and butter. Add the eggs one at a time. Add the vanilla. Add the flour a little at a time mixing thoroughly. Add any additional ingredients (chocolate, candy, fruit, etc).

Bake at 375 F for 10 minutes.

PS. don’t call me if you’ve eaten the entire loaf of raw dough and you have salmonella. I can’t help it.
